Which one does ChatGPT recommend for pizza topping ?
Two flat sides overlapped always glues up the best going into end never holds it is too easy to break
Hey can I use super glue?
Put Gorilla tape over the repair then superglue over the tape. Buy 4 tubes of superglue for a dollar in the dollar stores.
As a woodturner, I use Starbond products. I've not tried the others in a woodworking application, but Loctite gel is what I've used for everything else.
ua-cam.com/video/uyzwN0VK1CA/v-deo.html Lot of good tips about CA in this video
I’ve had very little success with Starbond. Perhaps it was to do with cold weather at the time. in the end I gave up and waited the Titebond to dry. Frustrated!!!! Yes Loctite has my vote! Thanks for your informative video
Daughter in the house: I'm calling the cops, you stole my finger nail file. Haha
This stupid shit doesn't work damn near melted the rim and still wouldn't come off. I'll just buy new damn rims
Loctite Professional smokes all these. Top solvency and polymers handle impact great. More volume for your money, syores for two years easily if cool and you didnt touch the spout(finger oils cure the glue)
All I use for RC & Model Kit is Bob !
I usually use my big bottle of hobby shop CA glue at home, but always gotta have some small ones in the tool bag. Would have been nice to see some cheaper / non-name brand ones included, like HFT.
Coaxial motors. Best efficiency ua-cam.com/video/cz0V5u-IOII/v-deo.htmlsi=vb9B3u9-HM1phqx5
I let me dog play with a tire for a couple mins. His saliva seems to break down the glue + his bite separated the bead.
The polymerization reaction of CA occurs by heat and exposure to moisture in the air. To prevent your bottle of CA curing on you before you use it keep it cold and dry. I buy 8oz bottles of BSI Instacure and keep it in a ziplock back full of silica gel (pure silica kitty litter) in the fridge. It never goes bad on me after years. Save money, buy the biggest bottle and keep in in the fridge in a ziplock back with desiccant. BSI sells small 1/2oz, 1oz and 2oz bottles and replacement tips and caps you can fill from the larger bottle for every day use. Happy finger bonding everyone.
I have never had any luck with the gorilla glue. I had to glue two plastic pieces together and it didn't even last 3 weeks
VERY informative video ! Thanks for sharing it. I clicked the "like" button, clicked subscribe, and rang the black bell. Looking forward to learning a lot more from you.
I can honestly say...I have tried many different brands on different materials.........Always disappointed with results
Store CA glue in the fridge, wont go off for years, had some in my fridge for around 4+ years. Still stcks great.
Loctite gel.and gorrillia I can pick up at my local Target bob Smith is only I get at the Hobby Store and I don't use CA Glue that much on less I repairing something😊
Thanks man. That was real great information. Great job.
Flex Super Glue
Beautiful 🤩
Magnifique travail 👍👍👍👍👍👍
What a great review and Its beyond me why some of the `experts` below are slagging it off. Each glue was tested with exactly the same material in exactly the same way using manufacturers specs.....not laboratory conditions.. but hey....you`re not exactly testing a jet engine are you. As a professional antique restorer I`ll be going for the Bob Smith Industries as I use a fair bit of this.
I just tried the oven method and it jacked up my rims.. 350 degrees at 7 mins I heard a pop noise
The acetone method needs to soak for 24 hours and it comes right off
4 wheels fit perfect in an air fryer. 350 for 8 minutes. They popped right off
is this guy still doing this channel?
Gorilla glue is the worst in every type.
The oved method made some bad fumes, felt lightheaded for a bit 😬
THE best one is: LOGO instant. Whenever I try anyone else, even Locktite, I always come back to LOGO instant (classic version). Made in Japan ...
The biggest problem with attempting to find the “best” is the myriad use cases and potential combination of substrates. Some work better for stabilizing punky or porous wood bonds, while others work much better for instances where the bond will be subjected to vibration. Some tend to fail if you try to add colorings or pigments. There are also times when the better choice is 2 part epoxy. Also, the amount of pressure applied during curing… I believe the better shot is to select a few real world scenarios, in order to see how they compare. As for drying out, I have found that all of the brands I had purchased in tubes had a terrible shelf life after opening. I have several bottles of Starbond that have been open for 2+ years and are fine. Also, several brands are available in 16 or 32 ounce bottles, where the per ounce price can come down to under $3.
If you are having trouble with curing in the bottle try throwing the ca in the freezer. It won't freeze but it also won't cure in the bottle. Be sure it is clearly labeled though Lol.
Great video! Got me to thinking tho, how much are descent quality beadlocks for a TRX4? Aftermarket tires/wheels have peeled loose and will fold over going around a turn. So wanted to plug weep hole as well. Ideas? Thanks!
As a newbie Why do this in the first place? I mean if this is what customers WANT why don't they ship em out like this? Didnt old rc cars have easily removable tires???
2 P 10 is the best stuff out there. I use a lot of bsi epoxy’s but if I’m using cyanoacrylate it’s going to be 2P10.
thx
Do you seal it all at the end
Try HFT (Harbor Freight) Industrial Strength Super Glue .7oz. Bottle Cap keeps it from drying
What a good thickness for 1/10 scale stuff???
Shoeglue would have killed all these
Styrene is a dumb medium to use.
I use the steel wool / vinegar liquid rust concoction. I call it dumpster juice. Good stuff.
What is good about this video is the Traxxas tire that comes with the cars is a very good tire. I used a heat gun and I rotate it until the rim starts to smoke. Then I get something to poke at the edge and it comes right off. 👌🏽
Baking worked a treat👍
What if I removed it before and I added super glue
Great job 😉
I used to use "hot Stuff" by Satellite City, which IMO is still the best CA glue made, but changed to Starbond Thin about 5 years ago due to it costing less and swear by the stuff. Not only is it a great glue, but you also get the extra nozzle AND the fine tips too.
Your testing methods are severely flawed. Everything form how you glued them together, to how you added the weights and that you only did a single test which could be failed by a defect in the materials or a flaw in your gluing method. @scytaleghola5969 has a more detailed list.
His methods are fine......he`s not testing a jet engine 😂😂🤣🤣😂😂
